Trinidad Martinez
President
Trinidad Martinez is a Third year pharmacy student on the Kingsville campus. He attended Del Mar College where he completed his associates in Biology and Chemistry. He currently works as a pharmacy intern at Walmart, where he is expanding his foundational knowledge in preparation for his APPE rotations. He aspires to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist, where he can continue using his knowledge to care for and advocate for patients.
Savanna stevens
Vice President
Savanna Stevens is a second-year pharmacy student at the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. She previously attended Hardin-Simmons University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with an Honors minor. She currently works at St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan, Texas as a pharmacy technician where she has implemented her current pharmacy knowledge and skills in her day-to-day tasks within the hospital. Savanna also serves as the Vice-President for the Texas A&M Health Student Advisory Council, is a member of the Texas A&M Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council, and is a supplemental instructor for the biochemistry course offered during the first year of pharmacy school at Texas A&M. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a residency program with a focus on either infectious disease or compounding pharmacy to continue her education and training to become a well-rounded pharmacist.
Joseph salinas
VP of Membership
Joseph Salinas, Class of 2027, 3rd year pharmacy student, has served as VP of membership for SSHP approaching two years. Previously, graduated from UTRGV, with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry. His years of experience has funneled through the different pharmacy settings including independent, corporate chain, and institutional pharmacies. He uses his infectious energy and diverse background to best connect with his patients. His plan is to navigate the many opportunities that the field of pharmacy has to offer.
Alexis George
Secretary
Alexis George is a P3 pharmacy school student on the College Station Campus. She completed her undergraduate degree at UT Dallas in healthcare studies. She started working as a pharmacy technician right after high school, and then later transitioned to becoming an intern after joining pharmacy school. She plans to pursue a career in clinical pharmacy, where she hopes to utilize her knowledge and experiences to make a true impact in her patients’ lives. She also wants her patients to feel empowered through education to take control of their health!
Cristian Requenez
Treasurer (KV)
Cristian Requenez is a third year pharmacy student at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, but moved to Lubbock to Attend Texas Tech University and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry as well as an MBA and Master of Science in Data Science. He then worked as a data engineer for the Providence St. Joseph Health System during the beginning of the COVID pandemic until the start of his P1 year. Cristian wants to use all the skills he has learned to become a highly competent pharmacist.
Ashley McKeever
Treasurer (CS)
Ashley McKeever is a P2 pharmacy student on the College Station campus. She is from Huntsville, Texas and completed her undergraduate degree at Sam Houston State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in pharmacy. She has worked at CVS pharmacy for the past 4 ½ years where she started as a technician in training, became the lead technician, and then has worked as an intern since beginning pharmacy school. After graduating, she plans to pursue a career in either pediatric pharmacy or inpatient rehabilitation in the Houston area.
Sabrina Pantaleon
Public Relations (CS)
Sabrina Pantaleon is a P2 pharmacy student on the College Station campus. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Sabrina currently works as a pharmacist intern at CVS Pharmacy and is completing her IPPE rotations, gaining hands-on experience in both community and institutional pharmacy settings. She plans to pursue a career in clinical pharmacy, where she hopes to apply her clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes and provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
